The day I started working was also the day I started wearing an Eyeglasses.  I have an eye defect because I went under an eye surgery back in 1995 and since then, my opthalmologist advised me to have my eye Glasses all the time.  I actually choosed to have it over contact lenses. Although I’m not blind and still be able to see without one, but working on a computer most of the day give so much stressed not only to me but also to my eyes.

When I came to US back in 2001, the first thing I did was to go to a new Opthalmologist and  make sure I get my Eyeglasses prescription because like what my doctor told me back in the Phils., I need to change my glasses from time to time.Thankfully in US, there are websites like GlassesUSA.com to buy a prescription glasses online.All you have to do is to have your prescription on hand when you are ready to shop. They also have a non-prescription  glasses for those who only wanted to wear one just for fashion.

You might be wondering if it is actually an eyeglasses because yes,it is.  It’s called Transistion glasses that turns a little darker when it is too sunny outside. So instead of wearing a separate sunglasses to protect my eyes from the sun, my regular prescription glasses turn into one.And I think it’s the coolest eyeglasses ever! :)
