Since I put a contact form link in all my blogs, I also started getting an inquiry about guest posting. I was skeptical at first until I did my own little research how it’s going to help me, not only to have a quality article,but also additional traffic and most of all,additional income because I opt to accept guest posting for a certain fee.

But not all guest post created equal, you also need to be very careful about whom you wanted to accept as a guest poster, if you are monetizing your blog, make sure that you are making money from them and not them making money from you. I have a couple of guest post article from my blogs and he’s really good because he created a post that match my niche eventhough his article is about gold bullion but his post in my food blog come so natural and that’s the kind of post I like.

• When they sent you an email, try to research first if it’s a legit inquiry by asking your fellow blogger, it’s another reason why it’s always a good idea to be a part of a certain blogger group because you have people around you whom you could ask for info.
• Be specific on how many links you are willing to accomodate with each post.
• Be upfront if you are accepting guest post for a fee. Keep in mind that people who want to guest post have a budget for it,so don’t hesitate to name your price.
• Last but not the least, if you want a legit guest poster keep coming your way, keep working in your blog, if your blog is PR 0, work as much as possible to make it at least 2 because guest poster preferred blogs with PR and with own domain.
